A Plague Tale: Innocence tells the grim story of two siblings fighting together for survival in the darkest hours of History. It sends you on an emotional journey through the 14th century France, with gameplay combining adventure, action and stealth, supported by a compelling story.
My missions:
wrote, integrated, and helped iterate on the design of the AI’s behavioral lines (allies and enemies)
did a first dialog pass on several chapters
conceived all in-game collectibles, wrote related character dialogs, and trivias for each one, based on verified historical material
scripted and implemented many narrative sequences in the in-house game engine
directed recordings with the cast and guided actors in the storyline
managed and updated the in-game narrative ressources from the in-house database (text-to-speech, recorded voices, lipsync data, subtitles in all languages, …)
